Complex remodels · Austin area

Love your home. Rethink how it works.

A wall in the wrong place. Rooms that don’t connect. A kitchen that leaves the cook out of the conversation. Some changes ask more of a home and deserve a careful plan.

Provence · Complex remodel

Come on in.
Everyone’s welcome.

A family who loves to host. A kitchen that kept everyone apart. A carefully placed steel beam opened a new connection to the living space.

Step inside the project ↗

More than a new finish

Plan what changes
beneath the surface.

Moving a wall can affect the structure, wiring, plumbing, and how a family uses the adjoining rooms. Thinking through those connections early helps give the project a clear direction.

Start with how you want to live.

More room to host, a better daily routine, or spaces that make sense together. The goal guides the work.

Understand the decisions ahead.

Discuss the home’s condition, design needs, engineering, permits, and who will be responsible for each part of the project.

Agree on planning before building.

Review the scope and fee for paid pre-construction. Work toward a coordinated plan before making the construction commitment.

Before the walls come down

Questions worth asking.

Can we talk before I have plans?

Yes. Start with what you hope to change and what isn’t working today. The first conversation helps identify the questions to explore before committing to detailed plans.

Do you work in my part of Austin?

Tell us the city or ZIP where you’re considering work. Bard will discuss coverage and project fit with you before arranging the next step.

What makes a remodel complex?

Moving walls, changing the layout, or working with structure, plumbing, wiring, and heating or cooling can make a remodel more involved. Those decisions need to be considered together.

Is pre-construction a paid service?

Detailed planning is a separate commitment. Discuss the scope, planning outputs, and fee with Bard before agreeing to that stage. Sending an inquiry does not commit you to paid work.

Can we stay home during the work?

It depends on the work and the rooms affected. Access, utilities, dust, children, pets, and your daily routine are part of the planning conversation.

When could our project begin?

Timing depends on the scope, design, approvals, selections, and crew availability. Share your hopes for timing so Bard can discuss a realistic next step.

Your next chapter

Tell us what
you have in mind.

You don’t need a finished plan. Just a little about your home and what you’d like it to become.
