Access, the age and condition of the home, and what is uncovered during the work can affect the plan.
What you choose
Cabinetry, fixtures, tile, and other materials influence the investment. Talk about what matters most and where you have flexibility.
Before the build
Pay for a plan you understand.
Pre-construction brings the details together before construction begins. Review the proposed planning work, who will handle it, the deliverables, and the fee before agreeing to proceed.
Design, engineering, and permitting needs depend on the project. Ask which services are included and which costs are separate. There’s no fee or construction commitment simply for sending an inquiry.
Leave room for a good decision.
Discuss assumptions, allowances, and what happens if the scope changes. Your budget should be part of the conversation, not a number you’re embarrassed to bring up.
